With 22 years of experience in education—10 of those at Berino Elementary—I am passionate about teaching and committed to making a difference in my students’ lives. I hold a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and believe in the power of education to inspire growth and confidence. Making a meaningful impact on my students is at the heart of everything I do. Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud mom of two teenage boys and stay active through running and hiking. Nature grounds me, and living with purpose helps me stay positive and present in each day.

I am happy to be starting my 26th year of teaching. I have experience in both general education and special education. I have taught from kindergarten to sixth grade with most of my experience being in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. My favorite subject to teach is math although I love a good childrens' novel. I have both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from New Mexico State University.

On a personal note, I have three grown children and one grandchild. I enjoy walking my dog, watching movies, listening to audio books, and traveling to new places.
