Chromebook Repairs & Replacements

If there is any student from Berino Elementary that has a broken or a Chromebook that is not working properly please return it to the school. We will assign you a new, correctly functioning computer.  

As students begin turning in Chromebooks for repair, the basic costs for the related parts are listed below
 

Problem Cost
Damaged/lost/stolen charging cable $40
Cracked Screen $40
Broken Keyboard $65
Chromebook Replacement $200


If a Chromebook is not working, some problems can be fixed but until a technician checks the device it should be assumed it needs to be replaced.

Ms. Valerie Hart and Mr. Anthony Sapien are EXCITED to offer Google training sessions for GISD parents and families!

Sessions start on February 9 & 12, 2021 (approx. 1 hour session)

Learning Platform Assistance Hotline
This hotline will offer guidance and assistance on the learning platforms. The hotline will have educators on call from each district who are familiar with their district learning platforms, who will be able to help you with all your troubleshooting needs.

Ngage New Mexico is a non-profit organization that has partnered with GISD, LCPS, and Hatch districts to provide a hotline number for parents that may need technology assistance in the evenings and on Saturdays.
